Thanks for the welcome back - tis much appreciated

I don't not love Space Invaders. In fact thinking back it was one of the games I played most on the old VCS, to the point I actually got a blister on the inside of my thumb from over playing it.

There have been a number of attempts to revive it, but none of them have been particularly successful and the general opinion is to leave that one in the past.

I picked up the Plug N Play version from a care boot for a quid last year and that was great fun - played as I remembered it !

You've been missed bud... welcome back!

How come you never show some love for Space Invaders?
I'd have thought that producing colour using strips of film on the screen was more than retro enough for you ;-)

Thanks very much. Keep em peeled for more updates and postings to come. If you can put the good word out there, word of mouth is a wonderful thing :)
Next article will be on the games crash of the 1980's which I have touched on briefly here and in the old GameFancier blogs.
